Tirloni and Reyzinho Victorious at C S C 22
Showing tremendous performances on Saturday, September 29, Ricardo Tirloni and Reynaldo “Reyzinho” Duarte dominated their opponents to bring RTEFA to a 5-0 record.Fighting against a strong opponent in Mike Easton, Reyzinho showed an astounding performance, and secured the victory at 1 minute and 30 seconds of the first round.
Leading the stanza with a few kicks, a Reyzinho high kick found impact against Easton ’s arm as Easton checked the kick. The collision caused Easton ’s arm to fracture, forcing the Lloyd Irvin prospect to drop his left arm.
Reyzinho finished his opponent shortly thereafter with strikes from the mount. Ricardo Tirloni won his second amateur title in 10 days by defeating Anthony Morrison by TKO 56 seconds into the first round. Throwing his trademark low kick to Morrison’s thighs and knees, a Tirloni low kick found it’s mark on Morrison’s lead leg, causing the knee to collapse. Seeing the moment to attack, Tirloni secured the clinch, and just like his first American bout, put his opponent to the mat with devastating knees.
